Skydiver safely rescued from tree in Monroe Township

A skydiver was rescued from a tree in Monroe Township Friday night after his parachute became entangled in a tree.

The certified skydiver was identified by Monroe Township police as Fa Ding Sun, 23, of Philadelphia. Capt. Howard Wiener said Sun has 75 jumps under his belt.

The incident occurred around 5:11 p.m. out of Freefall Adventures at the Cross Keys Airport.

The man was not injured and was brought to safety by police an EMS.

A woman who answered the phone at Freefall Adventures declined to comment.

Any one who owns a boat or thinking about getting one will need to have this class.Get Your NJ Boaters Safety Class Today!!!!
 

  • All persons who wish to operate a motorized vessel, including a personal watercraft, must possess a boating safety education certificate.
The Instuctor is CWO Danny AbateCoast Guard Officer and also a Sheriff Officer for the County. He Supervises the Special Investigation Unit and Instructs officers in Marine Police Operations.
