Our EMS Night is a great way to raise awareness about the Emergency Medical Services provided on a daily basis to the residents of Monroe Township as well as those in the surrounding communities in which we also serve as the need arises.

From Chief Johnston,
I want to once again thank the members of Monroe Twp Ambulance And Rescue Association for doing such a great job with this storm. Since The storm started, we have had a total of 17 ems calls. About 70% of the call volume was west of sicklerville rd. Thus having the ambulance stationed on glassboro rd worked out perfect. Response times were excellant even with the conditions. Total manhours for this weekend was 444 hours. This saves the Twp about $8500.00 in labor costs. below is a list of the members and the hours put in. Great job
Steve Brown, Robert Lee, Brian Dimter, Jim Hein, Matt Mills, Anna Mills, Dominic Jacobs, Stephanie Seeley, Joe Thomas, Lauren Schaeffer, Travis Young, Caroline Gruss, Steve Weiss, Marc Elentrio, Steve Pinelli, Kelly Fannelli
SEND YOUR SNOW PICS TO BLIZZARD@SQUAD294.ORG AND WE WILL POST SOME HERE
Monroe Township Ambulance and Rescue has put its Storm Matrix in effect at aprox 1800hrs, February 4th lasting as long as conditions warrant. Crews from Monroe Twp Amb and Rescue are joining firefighters from the Williamstown Fire Department to cover the township should the need arise for EMS services. Rescue/Engine units will be following ambulances enroute to call to shovel out paths and to assist crews with removing patients from homes.
It is suggested that all residents stay off the streets and allow room for snow removal, EMS, Fire, and police personal to do their work. For more information on how to prepare for blizzard conditions and what to do in an emergency visit New Jersey Office of Emergency Management.
